Mechanical Engineering Technologist – Field Service Jobs

Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in piping design and drawing preparation

Experience working in engineering consulting.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Design development and drafting of tender/construction drawings.

Review of shop drawings and respond to contractor inquiries.

Responsible for expense management and service revenues.

Act as a resource for new product offerings.

Basic mechanical knowledge and aptitude concerning industrial manufacturing machinery.

Expert knowledge of hand/power tooling and proper function/usage

High School diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years mechanical experience.

Creating and maintaining product definition, tooling, process certification, and shop order routings;

Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering Technology;

Minimum of 3 to 6 years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment (for Intermediate level);

Experience in sheet metal detail manufacturing, machining components, pneumatic and hydraulic hardware/systems, composite manufacturing, heat treating and forming operations;

Experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications;

Experience using CINCOM would be considered an asset.

You have at least 2 years of Project Management experience.

You have the ability to work closely with product development, production, and product management teams to continually improve products and practices.

You have Mechanical Engineering Technologist or equivalent experience.

You have at least 2 years of experience in commissioning, maintaining, or installing related equipment.

You have experience with 8D Root Cause Analysis.

You have experience with SolidWorks and CREO software.
