Two years of verifiable mechanic experience.

Starting pay:$32 to $35 per hour plus shift premiums

($5/hr shift premiums for weekend shift )

Evening 3 pm - 1:30 am (Monday - Thursday) or Weekend Shift 7 am-7:30 pm (Friday to Sunday)

Full-time, 40 hours per week

Tool allowance after 1 year of service

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY TO REPAIR TRUCKS, TRAILERS AND/OR POWER EQUIPMENT

ABILITY TO WORK AS EFFICIENTLY AS POSSIBLE WITH MINIMAL SUPERVISION

ABILITY TO SAFETY ALL EQUIPMENT

COMMUNICATE WITH OPERATIONS AND SUPERVISORY STAFF ON THE AVAILABILITY OF EQUIPMENT

HAVE THE ABILITY TO PRIORITIZE JOBS

FOLLOW SHOP PROCEDURES AND COMPANY POLICIES RELATING TO THE USE OF SHOP AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY REGULATIONS

Mechanic license or equivalent experience

Performs repairs on the engines, brakes, suspensions, and electrical equipment on the site’s trucks and yard machinery

Service equipment per company maintenance schedules

Diagnoses and troubleshoots mechanical issues and makes necessary repairs, adjustments, or replacement

Inspects, lubricates, and service equipment

Drives trucks and trailers to test their performance

Experience with welding will be considered an asset

Applicants with 3+ years’ experience will be viewed with priority

Equivalent education, training, and/or experience combined

Computer skills Microsoft Office and Outlook

Experience with hand tools required

1+ years of work experience as a mechanic

Customer service and customer problem solving

Review work orders and discuss with clients, co-workers, and supervision
