Market Research Data Analyst Jobs in Nova Scotia

***MUST have Reliability clearance or have lived in Canada for 5 consecutive years***

SQL or equivalent coding ability

● Proficiency in marketing & customer data extraction, measurement and presentation for marketing campaigns

● Confident communicator who will share expertise without prompting – takes ownership

● Understanding of business needs

● Power BI, understanding of SQL, Python or other commonly used data language

Must have experience and ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities and maintain appropriate confidentiality levels;

Must have over one (1) year of experience in a position where primary duties included research, data collection and analysis;

Must have knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet;

Must have knowledge of statistical software packages including but not limited to SPSS and SAS;

Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills;

Must have experience in managing relationships with corporate and community partners;

Excellent communication and project management skills and experience in working closely with internal client business units and senior stakeholders.

An entrepreneurial and self-regulating mind-set. Display a high level of time management skills to manage multiple and elaborate requests simultaneously.

Interact with the client’s various internal stakeholders and business units; technology, legal, accounting/finance, human resources, and investment managers.

Experience working with Market Data vendors such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Exchanges (NYSE, ICE, etc.).

Knowledge of FITS and MDSL inventory systems is preferred.

Have high energy and be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
