Lumber Yard Manager Jobs in Ontario

5+ years’ experience in a construction and/or yard environment

Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment

MS Office application skills a strong asset

Maintain property, including, snow removal, dust control, cleanliness and keep organized in a safe, professional manor.

Determine methods of reporting, analyzes trends and distributes reports on a daily basis to all operation groups.

Audit and insure all outbound/inbound materials are shipped/received appropriately and reported.

College/university diploma with focus on transportation / operations management or equivalent experience in logistics and transportation preferred.

Manages payroll of the department, ensures premium rates and overtime are entered accurately and able to meet payroll deadlines.

Manage the operational hours of the Class 1 Operators.

Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Applications

Considerable knowledge of SSLs and off-dock operations

Experience with container stack yards
