Minimum one (1) year experience working with children and families required, preferably in a Child Life program.
Preference will be given to candidates with work, student or volunteer experience working in a Child Life program.
Communicates Child Life theory concerning benefits of play to others.
Demonstrates understanding of the impact of healthcare experience on children and families.
Demonstrates effective communication skills, both oral and written.
Baccalaureate Degree relating to Child Life, Child and Youth Studies, Child Development or related field required.
