Experienced Dental Assistant Level II (NDAEB certified)

Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience

Experience with Tracker dental software an asset

Assisting Dentists/Specialists (mainly Periodontists/Prosthodontists and Endodontist and Oral surgeons) during dental procedures that features handing instruments and other materials

Placement and removal of rubber dams

Handles scheduling of appointments and ensures appropriate information is provided to the Chief Building Official and senior management.

Coordinates meetings, special events, schedules, workshops, grievances, labour-management meetings, food services, printing of conference materials, registration, etc.

Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in dealing with highly confidential operational matters with senior management.

Strong analytical, research and problem solving skills.

Division & Section: Toronto Building, Chief Building Official’s Office

Work Location: City Hall, 100 Queen St W, Toronto, M5H 2N1

Accurate keyboarding and proofreading skills.

Knowledge of collective agreements, corporate payroll and human resources policies, procedures, practices and related legislation.

Certification or enrollment in a designated Payroll Program.
