Lead Warehouse Operator Jobs in Ontario

Grade 12 education or equivalent

Forklift (Electric Counterbalance) Certificate & Experience Required*

Experience in a Warehouse or Manufacturing environment considered an asset

Quality handling of Inventory Stored and Received.

Accuracy of the Order Picked

Ability to communicate and work with co-workers in a professional courteous manner.

Experience in shipping and receiving an asset

Receive incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices

Accurately sort, label, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space

Pick, pack, and dispatch incoming and outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders

Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in order picking and using a Walkie machine

Experience using the following MHE is an asset: Reach, Counterbalance, Clamp

Working knowledge of MS Office

Exceptional customer service skills, overseeing customer’s orders from end to end

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively

Work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to lead and direct team efforts in a warehouse environment.

Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.

Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.

Marks materials with identifying information such as labels.

Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
