Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) program

Looking for graduate students and post-docs related to one or more of following areas:

* lithium ion and solid state batteries

* advanced manufacturing - AI and machining

* pipeline engineering (hydrogen transportation)

* IOT, sensors, printed electronics

Displays strong stakeholder and relationship management across senior leaders, partners and customers.

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field with at least one semester/quarter remaining after internship.

Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills 

Available for an 8 month consecutive internship starting Aug 2023.

Strong desire and business acumen and the ability to understand business needs

Ability to review/consume information and provide insights, hypothesis or conclusions

Formal training in program management and process management, process improvement, business strategy and/or operations  

You will become a valued and integral member within your finance area.

Your manager will work with you to make sure your projects are meaningful and relevant based on your interests and development needs.

Additionally, you will receive finance-specific training and have access to all company-wide training resources to help you succeed in your role. 

One year of classroom or work experience in financial risk analysis preferred. 

Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

Formal training in project and process management, financial accounting, business strategy and/or operations.  

Displays strong stakeholder and relationship management across senior leaders, partners and customers.  

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field with at least one quarter/semester to complete after internship

Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills.

Assists others working with cross-functional (e.g., organizational, product, business) stakeholders (e.g., Engineering) to design programs from initiation to delivery. 

Available for an 8 month consecutive internship starting August 2023.

Strong communication and time management skills  

Strong mathematical skills and basic computer system knowledge  

Experience as a Retail Cashier is an asset  

Process customer transactions through cash registers  

Operate scanners and credit card/debit card terminals   

Collect payments and bag purchases for customers
