Intermediate Power Bi Developer Jobs in Alberta

Adhere to IT project management standards and procedures, tracking and documenting the various tasks accordingly.

Gather and document requirements, problems, and opportunities for key reporting needs.

Assist BI Lead with development of reporting solutions within Power BI, and aid business teams in refining requirements.

Accommodate evolving requirements, risks and issues while meeting targets within reasonable timelines.

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst/Developer, Data Analyst or report developer.

Candidates for this role must have SQL querying, data analysis and Power BI report development experience.

Good to have knowledge and experience of Report development in GE APM or any other APM Product

Working experience in MS Power BI Reporting Solutions & MS Technology such as MS Excel.

Good understanding & Hands on experience on different RDBMS ( MS SQL, Oracle , etc.)

Proven recent Hands-on experience building complex Power BI reports using various data sources

Proven recent extensive technical knowledge MS Power BI Technology.

Proficiency in creation of reporting solution and design, documentation emphasizing reporting requirements traceability in relation to business and technical requirements.

Good to have knowledge and experience of Report development in GE APM or any other APM Product

Intermediate BI & Analytics Analyst Must Have Skills:

Support the analysis of functional requirements and support the design of required data models

Acquire required Power Platform technical certifications

2+ years hands-on experience with Power BI technical solutions, ideally in a consulting setting

Experience with SQL and Azure data warehousing concepts

Nice to have skills: Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks

Hands-on experience building production solutions with large data sets

Project Management Tools (i.e. ClickUp)
