Intermediate Geochemist Jobs

Minimum of 12 years of experience providing waste and water quality management services within the mining sector.

Strong people skills and an ability to work in a team environment.

Experience in leading, mentoring, and training staff on water quality modelling

Proven verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in a second language including French or Spanish an advantage.

Provide leadership to our strategic initiative to grow water services across Canada.

Develop and maintain key client relationships and support growth of the team and business.

·Exceptional organization and time management skills to prioritize the workload to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.

·Law Clerk, Legal Assistant or related legal Diploma or Certificate.

·Knowledge and understanding of the OBCA, CBCA, PPSA, Superior Courts, the Ontario Business Registry and eCore.

·Excellent working knowledge and of Microsoft Office applications, Adobe, and related web-based applications.

·Preparation and review of various types of registrations under the PPSA.

·Review results and prepare summary reports for Superior Court and other due diligence searches.

Have 10+ years experience studying the geologic fate of petrochemicals, mineral acids and bases.

Contract consulting position with competitive pay, no benefits.

Have a PhD in Geochemistry, Environmental Chemistry, or related field.

Have advanced understanding of carbon capture mechanisms and methods.

Have publications addressing some aspect of carbonate chemistry.

Manage stream restoration and erosion protection projects

Undergraduate or graduate degree in a Physical Geography, Geomorphology, River Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, or equivalent education

Minimum of 5 years related experience

Proven scientific skills in a range of areas including field data collection, river mechanics, sediment transport, geomorphic processes, and hydraulics

Experience in related aspects of water resources including environmental geoscience, biogeography, aquatic and ecological sciences

Experience in geomatics, airphoto interpretation/manipulation, and field surveys (total station, RTK)
