Overview An Interior Design Intern is a professional who works with an interior design firm to gain experience in the field of interior design. The intern will work with the design team to assist in the development of interior design projects. Detailed Job Description The Interior Design Intern will work with the design team to assist in the development of interior design projects. This includes researching design trends, creating design concepts, and developing presentations. The intern will also be responsible for helping to create and maintain project timelines, budgets, and client communication. The intern will also be responsible for helping to coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Skill Requirements• Knowledge of interior design principles, materials, and trends
• Ability to create design concepts and presentations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
• Previous experience in interior design or related field
• Knowledge of design principles, materials, and trends
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
