Inspection System Engineer Jobs

Knowledge of Welder Qualification and management, Procedure qualifications and management.

Salary - Commensurate With Experience And Individual Qualifications.

Working knowledge of welding alloy steels and service exposed steels and trouble shooting during welding challenges.

10 years minimum with direct involvement in refinery or petrochemical plant inspection, maintenance or operations.

Candidate have a basic understanding of Refining & Petrochemical processes and technologies; familiarity with ASME, API and ASTM codes.

Understanding of the basic principles of corrosion, metallurgy and materials of construction, welding procedures,; refractory selection and application procedures.

At least 10 years of field experience involving major plant turnarounds, field troubleshooting, and inspection.

In-depth knowledge of best engineering practices, coupled with a strong background in industry codes and standards.

Conducting field troubleshooting on a daily basis or as required.

Participating in major Turnarounds & Inspections (T&Is) and emergency plant shutdowns.

Developing and reviewing mechanical inspection procedures and best practices.

Writing recommendations and reports related to mechanical inspection activities.

You should be able to demonstrate an overall knowledge of T&I planning and execution management.

Report planning progress to management

Experience in T&I planning software such Primavera P6 is essential. (Roser also preferred).

Prepare the budget for the yearly operating plan, and develop the Mid-Year and Year-End Accountability reports.

Ensure shutdown and startup details activities are incorporated in the Primavera schedule, including the systems and equipment release schedule.

Prepare lists of all expense project package and ensure all required expense projects are developed and approved.
