3+ years of experience working on hydraulic projects

Develop and optimize process designs for oil and gas production facilities, including pipelines, refineries, and drilling operations.

Utilize process simulation software to model and analyze system performance, troubleshoot issues, and identify areas for improvement.

Select and recommend appropriate equipment and technologies to support process improvements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Liaise with client and team to understand project scope and deliverables

Proactively drive sales via the identification and qualification of new business prospects.

Advanced English and French Communication Skills.

Inside sales experience. Ability to make outbound calls and follow up on qualified leads.

Experience Cold Calling and Prospecting Preferred.

Experience in a Corporate office environment.

SAP/Sales Force or other CRM Experience.

Continuously develop professionally by enhancing both technical knowledge and instructional skills

You must have at least five years’ experience as a journeyperson in either off-road equipment and/or on-road vehicles or equivalent.

Dual certification will be considered an asset (e.g., Automotive & Heavy Duty)

Prior teaching experience will also be considered an asset.

Prepare and present lessons to learners

Instruct, supervise, and coach learners in a classroom and shop environment

HVAC certification is required as well. Air conditioning and heating system repairs.

Journey-Certified Heavy Duty Mechanic/Inter-provincial Red Seal Certification

Shovel experience is an asset

Experience working on Caterpillar equipment and Caterpillar service information systems

Previous side boom, shovel and pipeline equipment repair experience

Experience both in-field and in shop an asset

Notifying management of damaged or faulty equipment.

Work experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic is required.

Knowledge of computer testing technologies.

Inspecting the performance of trucks, cranes, bulldozers, and other heavy equipment.

Using computerized testing equipment to diagnose flaws.

Adjusting and replacing defective parts, repairing broken equipment parts

Instrumentation and control technician trade certification is available, but voluntary, in all provinces and territories, except in Quebec.

Repair and adjust system components, such as sensors, transmitters and programmable logic controllers, or remove and replace defective parts

Calibrate components and instruments according to manufacturers specifications

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work and complete test and maintenance reports

Install control and measurement instruments on existing and new plant equipment and processes

Consult with and advise process operators.

Update and publish weekly and monthly reports for management.

Update and publish monthly material forecast vs budget reports for management.

Negotiate and manager vendor contracts.

Proactively assess, manage and mitigate risks related to procurement.

Demonstrated experience in procuring from international vendors/fabricators is essential
