Homeless Prevention Program Outreach Worker Jobs

Responsible for providing management of the housing and homelessness teams in the Program Manager’s Absence

Manage and oversee the Emergency Housing Program including contract compliance with all vendors supporting the program

Facilitate the operations and delivery of the Service Manager housing and homelessness directly delivered programs including oversight of the staff

Two years of direct related experience in the housing or homelessness sector, in a supervisory role or systems support position preferred

Superior analytical and problem solving abilities

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Demonstrated skill and knowledge of overdose prevention, recognition and response training

Demonstrated skill in CPR techniques.

Knowledge of mental illness, continuum of substance use and substance use treatment.

Knowledge of psychopharmacology (indications and side-effects).

Extensive knowledge of the impact of gendered based and family violence

Proven skills in support, crisis intervention, safety planning and advocacy with survivors of family violence
