Knowledge of various cleaning products

Month end cleaning of appliances, walls, carpets, blinds, windows, baseboards, lighting, bathroom and cupboards

Attending pre-move out and annual inspections to provide cleaning estimates

Completing small repairs such as painting or changing of lights as required

Supporting the general maintenance of the building’s exterior

Willing and able to assist at different sites throughout Lethbridge

Previous industrial cleaning experience is an asset

Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse

Wash surfaces, interior walls and ceilings

Empty trash cans and other waste containers

Sweep, mop, scrub and wax production lines and areas

Clean and disinfect production areas, equipment, and fixtures

Knowledge of various cleaning products

2-5 years experience as a cleaner in a condo building

Cleaning lobby area, sweeping, mopping, spot cleaning windows and doors

Vacuuming hallways through out building

Picking up any litter interior and exterior

Cleaning and maintaining the garbage room

Strong organizational and time management skills;

Report deficiencies to Property Manager for repair;

Other duties as required. Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role and/or customer service role is considered an asset;

Operate vacuum cleaners to remove dirt and other waste;

Wash windows and interior walls;

Prior housekeeping experience is considered an asset

Strong customer service and communication skills

Emptying garbage containers and replacing liners on a continual basis

Sweeping all floor areas, including storefront ledges and baseboards, and consistent dusting of fixtures, kiosks, vendor carts, and other high areas

Keeping benches, tables and chairs throughout the mall clean and presentable for guests

Ensuring all compactor rooms are free of debris, and reporting any compactor clogs to a Supervisor

Report any serious deficiency about curb appeal or safety or hazard to Resident Manager

Thorough cleaning of vacant suites including cleaning appliances, walls, windows, kitchen, washrooms, balconies

Must be able to work flexible schedule, including weekends

Strong customer service skills; previous related food service experience is preferred

Proficient computer skills; previous experience with hand held tablet devices is a definite asset

Knowledge and understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.

Current Food Handlers Certification through the local health unit or equivalent REQUIRED.

Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent
