Must possess basic math skills to include adding, subtracting, multiplication, division

Loading parts into Heat Treat Furnaces and starting cycles, checking tolerances before and after heat treatment, washing parts

Operating overhead cranes & hoist systems safely

Will train in house for the position.

Must be willing to work shift work on a rotational basis. We are a 3 shift company.

Vos responsabilités comme opérateur au traitement thermique incluent ce qui suit :

-Comprendre et interpréter des fiches techniques et spécifications

-Préparer les pièces et les échantillons

-Charger les fours et programmer les cycles de traitement thermique

-Exécuter les traitements thermiques et décharger les pièces en toute sécurité

Select appropriate heat transfer equipment based on process requirements, including heat duty, pressure, and temperature.

Review and interpret vendor drawings and documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to ensure successful project execution.

Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and address technical queries.

Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed design enhancements.

Proven experience in shell and tube heat exchanger rating and thermal design.

Ability to meet company certification standards as required.

Conducts metallurgical analyses on metal samples and machine tools.

Estimates, requisitions and inspects materials.

Uses logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.

Identifies complex problems and reviews related information to develop and evaluate options to implement solutions.

Represents Applus with outside groups, regulatory bodies, associations, and clients.
