Health Care Food Service Supervisor Jobs in Ontario

Apply continuous quality improvement principles to workflow, performance, production and changes to service and dietary requirements to meet legislative requirements.

Assist in ensuring high quality dietary services for residents of the facility

Liaise and consult with residents, families, government officials, and professionals in relation to resident care needs and department activities

Responsible for diet changes and nutritional quarterly assessments

You have a high school diploma or GED certificate, as well as a Management Food Safety Certification

Development opportunities, including a GM mentorship program, as well as leadership seminars and career development plans for all managers

You will communicate employee relations issues, deviations from brand standards, and other guest issues to the attention of an exempt manager

You have excellent guest service and people skills

✔️ Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

✅ Estimating and ordering ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring proper inventory management.

✅ Maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for inventory management.

✔️ Proficiency in inventory management and order tracking systems.

✔️ Proven experience in the food service industry, with a strong background in supervisory or leadership roles.

✔️ Solid knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and quality control standards.
