Overview:

Group Fitness Coaches are responsible for leading and motivating groups of people in a variety of fitness activities. They must be knowledgeable about fitness, nutrition, and safety, and be able to create and lead effective and enjoyable workouts. Group Fitness Coaches must also be able to motivate and encourage their clients to reach their fitness goals.

How To Become an Group Fitness Coach:

To become a Group Fitness Coach, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent. You will also need to obtain certification from a recognized fitness organization, such as the American Council on Exercise (ACE). You may also need to complete additional training or education in order to become a Group Fitness Coach.

Group Fitness Coach Skills:

• Knowledge of fitness, nutrition, and safety
• Ability to create and lead effective and enjoyable workouts
• Ability to motivate and encourage clients to reach their fitness goals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
