Gis Application Specialist Jobs

Desired Technical Skills & Experience:

* Excellent working knowledge of ESRI software (ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise) and other related GIS/GPS platforms.

* Advanced working knowledge of data transformation software (i.e. FME).

* Experience with relational database systems (specifically SQL Server).

* Experience working with AutoCAD files.

* Working knowledge of 3D surface modeling and 3D visualization concepts.

Experience managing and analyzing dashboards, along with detailed reporting skills.

Must have a high-level understanding/hands-on experience with GIS/CAD software and able to manipulate and produce GIS/Mapping/Google Earth data and data sets.

Experience with ESRI’s catalogue of applications including ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online Applications (Survey123, Dashboards, Insights, Workforce, StoryMaps, etc.)

Understanding of water and wastewater industry infrastructure engineering principles and systems.

Familiarity with programming (SQL/Python) are an asset.

Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and time management skills

Experience with the ArcGIS Utility Network Management Extension

Esri certification in Desktop, Enterprise Administration, Geodatabase Management, or ArcGIS Utility Network Configuration

Utilize technical writing skills for scoping, requirements gathering, design and build books

University degree in geography, GIS, geomatics, electrical engineering, civil engineering, computer science, or equivalent education and experience

Experienced in analyzing and documenting user needs requirements
