Able to use robotic total stations and GPS equipment

2+ years of professional C++ experience

Effective verbal and written communication skills in English

Experience working in both Windows and Unix/Linux environments

In addition, the following skills are highly desirable:

Handle research, design and implementation of new product features.

Assist with maintenance and enhancement of existing HPC software products including debugging and diagnosis of software defects.

10 years of survey field data collection and layout experience

Expert knowledge with AutoCAD 2020 Civil3D

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Provide topographic surveys and construction layout using robotic total stations and GPS

Preparation of base-plan using AutoCAD 2020 Civil3D and MicroStation

Able to use robotic total stations and GPS equipment

Developing cartographic and data products using ESRI and Adobe mapping products;

Working with relational and spatial databases (i.e. ArcSDE, Microsoft SQL Server), and SQL language scripting;

Using the VertiGIS Studio and Geocortex web mapping applications;

Collecting GPS data using tools such as Leica/ESRI Fieldmaps;

Manipulating and converting data using FME;

Using UAV technology to collect spatial data and imagery.

Minimum two years experience in the Geomatics industry, field experience is an asset

Working knowledge of GPS, LiDAR and Bathymetric data collection

Work closely with our team of professionals on GNSS processing, LiDAR processing, bathymetric processing and other various geomatics based tasks

Contribute to the growth and development of existing processes to determine changes that can increase efficiencies in the field and office

Perform other related duties as assigned by team members

Limited field time is a possibility to support local field crews

Liaising with Project Managers and clients regarding project scope and enquiries.

Experience with Microsurvey, AutoCAD Civil3D, Trimble Business Centre and Trimble Access is a strong asset.

Knowledge of survey and boundary calculation, geodetic coordinate systems and map projections.
