Overview General Service Technicians are responsible for providing general maintenance and repair services for a variety of vehicles. They inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical components of vehicles, as well as perform routine maintenance. They must be knowledgeable in a variety of automotive systems and be able to use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve problems. Detailed Job Description General Service Technicians are responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical and electrical components of vehicles. They must be knowledgeable in a variety of automotive systems, including brakes, suspension, steering, and engine systems. They must be able to use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve problems. They must also be able to perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. They must be able to explain repair procedures to customers and provide estimates for repair costs. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of automotive systems and components

Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Automotive technician certification
• ASE certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Knowledge of automotive systems and components
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools
• Knowledge of repair procedures
• Knowledge of routine maintenance
Job Experience
• Previous experience as an automotive technician
• Previous experience working with customers
Job Responsibilities
