They use a variety of tools and techniques to build, repair, and install items such as furniture, cabinets, doors, windows, and other structures. They must be able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams, as well as measure and mark materials accurately. They must also be able to use a variety of power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently. Job Skills Required

Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check

• Knowledge of carpentry tools and techniques
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Knowledge of safety procedures
• Knowledge of building materials
Job Experience
• At least two years of experience as a General Carpenter
• Experience in a variety of carpentry projects
