Furniture Specifier Jobs

Knowledge of product quality and good production methods

BRC is seeking a passionate candidate possessing the following experience and competencies:

Ensure that all items for an order are accounted for in accordance with BRC packaging standards

May be required to operate and attend to manual and automated tools.

Able to check pieces for any manufacturing defects

Ensure the daily and weekly production schedule is adhered to

Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.

Proven experience as a Carpenter specializing in furniture construction.

In-depth knowledge of woodworking techniques, joinery, and furniture construction methods.

Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship skills.

Knowledge of different finishing techniques and materials.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge of BRC’s furniture lines, including features/benefits, pricing, application and specification options.

Keep management informed by submitting project updates.

Manage complex tenders, which includes the comprehensive review of documents, furniture specifications, application and product strategy.

If required, work with Project Manager on project development and execution.

4- 5 years’ experience as a furniture specifier or within a similar role.

Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Windows including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM Software
