Overview:

Fulfillment Pharmacy Assistants are responsible for providing support to pharmacists in a variety of tasks related to the preparation and distribution of medications. They may be responsible for stocking shelves, preparing prescriptions, and helping customers with their orders. They must be knowledgeable about the medications they are handling and must be able to follow safety protocols. Fulfillment Pharmacy Assistants must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle customer inquiries in a professional manner.

How To Become an Fulfillment Pharmacy Assistant:

In order to become an Fulfillment Pharmacy Assistant, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent. You may also need to complete a pharmacy technician certification program. After completing the program, you must pass a certification exam to become a certified pharmacy technician. You may also need to complete on-the-job training in order to become familiar with the pharmacy's procedures and protocols.
