Minimum one (1) year experience as a fuel & lube technician
CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support
Clean Driver’s Abstract, Valid Class 3Q Driver’s License
Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based or urine test)
Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation

Overview Fuel Truck Drivers are responsible for transporting fuel from one location to another. They must ensure that the fuel is delivered safely and on time. They must also adhere to all safety regulations and maintain the truck in good working condition. Detailed Job Description Fuel Truck Drivers are responsible for safely and efficiently transporting fuel from one location to another. They must inspect the truck before each trip to ensure that it is in good working condition. They must also inspect the fuel tanks to ensure that they are properly filled and secure. During the trip, they must adhere to all safety regulations and drive in a safe and responsible manner. They must also maintain accurate records of their trips, including the amount of fuel delivered, the destination, and any other relevant information. Skill Requirements Fuel Truck Drivers must have excellent driving skills and be able to operate a truck safely and efficiently. They must also be able to read and understand maps and directions. They must be able to communicate effectively with customers and other personnel. They must also be able to perform basic maintenance and repairs on the truck. Qualifications Fuel Truck Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. They must also have a high school diploma or equivalent. Some employers may require additional qualifications, such as a commercial driver’s license. Knowledge Fuel Truck Drivers must have a thorough knowledge of the truck and its components. They must also be familiar with safety regulations and be able to read and understand maps and directions.
