Freight Forwarding Logistician Jobs

Strong negotiation skills and extensive sales experience.

Minimum 5 years of sales experience.

Minimum 3 years of logistics industry experience.

Experience in creating and executing a sales plan.

Experience using systems including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, TMS systems.

Strong organization and planning skills we well as effective written and verbal communication skills.

Time management and self-management skills including the ability to redefine priorities based on demand.

High level of interaction with Sales teams, Transportation Manager, Freight Supervisor and Finance teams.

Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with intermediate levels of management (Directors through end users).

Acts as the main point of contact for Finance in relation to logistics data.

2 to 3 years of general business or logistics/supply chain experience preferred.

Experience with Google Docs, SAP and asset.

Competitive Pay Rate (starting wage 29.$31), Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, DCPP with a company match up to 5%.

Coordinate, schedule and assign drivers and trucks based on customer requirements.

Ensure follow up with drivers to execute loads as instructed by customers and delivery standards & requirements.

Previous experience within the trucking industry will be considered an asset.

Create freight bills and assign to trucks.
