Overview A First Officer is a professional pilot who is responsible for assisting the Captain in the safe and efficient operation of an aircraft. The First Officer is the second-in-command of the aircraft and is responsible for the safety of the passengers and crew. Detailed Job Description The First Officer is responsible for assisting the Captain in the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. This includes pre-flight planning, monitoring the aircraft systems during flight, and assisting the Captain in the navigation and communication of the aircraft. The First Officer is also responsible for monitoring the performance of the aircraft and ensuring that all safety procedures are followed. Job Skills Required
