Overview A Finish Carpenter is a skilled tradesperson who specializes in the installation and finishing of woodwork, such as cabinets, doors, trim, and other wood products. They are responsible for ensuring that the finished product is of the highest quality and meets the customer’s expectations. Detailed Job Description Finish Carpenters are responsible for the installation and finishing of woodwork, such as cabinets, doors, trim, and other wood products. They must be able to read and interpret blueprints and plans, measure and cut wood accurately, and use a variety of tools and machines to complete the job. They must also be able to work with a variety of materials, such as wood, metal, and plastic. Finish Carpenters must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of carpentry tools and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans
• Ability to measure and cut wood accurately
• Ability to use a variety of tools and machines
• Ability to work with a variety of materials
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program
• Previous experience in carpentry
• Valid driver’s license
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of carpentry tools and techniques
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Knowledge of safety procedures
Job Experience
• Previous experience in carpentry
• Previous experience in finish carpentry
Job Responsibilities
• Read and interpret blueprints and plans
