Finance Analyst – Python Jobs in British Columbia

Assess overall impact of SEO work and subsequent ROI where possible, supporting in-region Managers in producing summaries for stakeholders

3-5 years of SEM/SEO experience, with experience working on a B2C eCommerce brand

Advanced Excel experience required including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and Charting

Excellent knowledge of data visualization platforms – PowerBI specifically a huge plus

Working knowledge of and ability to write Python and SQL

Experience and confidence in building processes and identifying tooling opportunities to improve analysis efficiency

End-to-end ownership of data acquisition, management, preparation and presentation

Experience in, and knowledge of data visualization, techniques, and tools: Tableau, Google Data Studio or D3.js

Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

Hands-on experience managing and overseeing data conversion, cleaning, and preparation

Programming skills in one or more of the following languages: Python, R, Javascript

Knowledge of databases and data warehouses: relational, noSQL, Hadoop

Exceptional communication skills & experience communicating with non-finance professionals

Meeting with marketing account & project management teams on a consistent basis to review currentprojects & active pipeline

Business partnership with other teams including accounting, payroll, project & resource management,client service

Comfortable presenting to large groups and senior management

Experience in the areas of finance, variance analysis, budgeting & forecasting

1-3 years of financial experience, either full time or co-op positions

Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.

Minimum three to five (3-5+) years of job-related experience in financial or business analytics role.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analysis, or related field.

Expert knowledge of financial and General Ledger (GL) reporting, or similar financial reporting system

Full knowledge of each component in basic financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet)

Experience with Cognos, Tableau, or similar front-end reporting tool.

3+ years of progressive finance, financial analysis, and reporting experience

Strong financial background, and expert knowledge of Excel is required. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI is considered an asset.

Strong analytical, modelling, and problem-solving skills.

You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can collaborate with individuals across divisions.
