Overview: Filling Station Attendants are responsible for providing customer service and ensuring the smooth running of a gas station. They must be knowledgeable about the products and services offered, as well as the safety procedures for handling fuel. They must also be able to handle cash and credit card transactions, and provide assistance to customers. How To Become an Filling Station Attendant: To become a Filling Station Attendant, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent. You may also need to complete a training program or on-the-job training. Filling Station Attendant Skills: Customer service, cash handling, knowledge of products and services, safety procedures, problem-solving, communication, and multitasking. Filling Station Attendant Knowledge: Knowledge of fuel types, fuel safety procedures, customer service, cash handling, and product knowledge. Filling Station Attendant Responsibilities: Greeting customers, providing customer service, handling cash and credit card transactions, stocking shelves, cleaning the station, and ensuring safety procedures are followed. Filling Station Attendant Experience: Previous experience in customer service, cash handling, and stocking shelves is beneficial.
