Exploration Drillers Jobs

Have experience working in the field, in remote and/or varied weather conditions for extended periods of time.

Have 1-3 years experience in the drilling industry.

Continuously prepare and supply the driller with tooling and materials necessary to maintain the drilling operations.

Handle drill rods and casing, core tubes and core samples.

Maintain and organize appropriate inventory levels of necessary materials, supplies and tooling for the drill rig and support vehicles.

Assist the Driller, client and other team members where required.

An International Mining company is looking for an experienced Exploration Manager for its project in Egypt.

- Make recommendations to management derived from property appraisals

- Insure efficient management to meet scope, time and budget.

The Mineral Exploration Manager’s tasks will include, but are not necessarily limited to:

- Manage company’s exploration interests and exploration programs under his responsibility

Provide training through instruction and demonstration of work skills, coaching and mentoring to other field employees.

Sufficient language skills, literacy and numeracy skills to perform all job-related tasks

2+ years of directly related experience.

You will be responsible for the general condition and obtaining optimum life out of all site equipment and tools.

You may be responsible for the training of new Driller Assistants in a safe environment.

Demonstrated experience in 2D/3D Seismic and Drilling Project Management

Knowledge, understanding and application of HSEC standards, HSEC management systems, HSEC auditing and incident investigation and reporting.

Advanced management skills pertaining to onshore drilling operations.

Prepare reports and presentations summarizing exploration findings, progress, and recommendations for management and stakeholders.

Manage the exploration budget and ensuring that expenditures are within allocated limits.

Engage the capabilities of the entire organisation.

Employ various sampling techniques according to project and client requirements.

Supervise Drill Assistant and the drill crew to ensure compliance with HSE requirements.

Have 2-5 years' experience in exploration drilling.

Extract core samples using the Zinex A5 or Hydracore 2000 Hydraulic Drill.

Record keeping as required/requested by the client and or Company.

Ensure Driller Assistant maintains and organizes equipment, supplies and tooling for the drill rig and support vehicles.
