Experienced Or Apprentice Carpenter Jobs

Knowledge and experience in both civil construction and residential projects

Must have framing & concrete formwork experience.

Practical knowledge and application of workplace safety, safe lifting and handling procedures, and proper tool usage

Knowledge of safe operation and maintenance of carpentry tools

Journeyman Carpenter Certificate from a recognized provincial training authority is not required but will be considered an asset.

Able to accurately read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, and understand verbal instructions.

General layout skills or experience working under a layout person.

Minimum 3 years’ current experience in construction laboring positions;

Experience on commercial and industrial construction projects;

Have experience reading and interpreting construction drawings;

Experience with equipment operation and hold valid certificates;

Genuine interest in building a carpentry career

Provide level 2 IT support and receive user service requests, initiate and document incident management, and assist users in problem solving;

Manage the plant’s IT assets in accordance with Siemens IT policies;

Manage and participate in projects to implement new IT tools;

1 + years’ experience in a similar position;

MCSE certification, a strong asset

Experience working in a manufacturing/Plant environment, an asset

Genuine interest in building a carpentry career
