Understand the different business requirements for data across departments (finance, insurance operations, claims, IT, risk management, legal, human resources).

Strong knowledge of data management fundamentals and data governance principles.

Excellent task management skills, well organized and able to meet deadlines, scheduling.

Provide input into strategic and operational planning for data management practices.

Python framework development with Flask, Anaconda or Panda

Hands on development in Azure cloud

Strong SQL query building exp – creating diagrams, tables, functions,

Must be able to work in Ottawa – 100% onsite

Strong SQL skills and experience working with Azure SQL Databases and Dataverse.

Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse workspaces, PolyBase, including knowledge of pipeline creation, data flows, integration runtimes, triggers, and monitoring.

Experience with SSIS, SSRS, PowerBI

Understanding of data pipeline architectures, Azure workflow orchestration tools, and concepts related to data ingestion, transformation, and movement.

Good understanding of Azure storage concepts and technologies.
