Environmental Services Lead Jobs

Implement and maintain GM agenda for labour and total quality management KPI requirements

Minimum of 2 year’s supervisory or management experience in a similar setting is required

Responsible for waste management, recycling, facilities, and custodial services to meet client demands and specifications

Ownership and accountability of operational management and financial performance of the unit

Create value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls and profit management

Build revenue and manage budget that includes c:ost controls for labour, supply, and inventory

Minimum of 7+ years progressive project and personnel management experience in the Environmental Compliance field

Lead a comprehensive storm water management program; which includes regular monitoring and sampling

Lead a team in the development and continuous improvement of the ISO 14,001 Environmental Management System

Post-secondary degree in a relevant technical field or a combination of education and experience

Maintain Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA) certification and collaborate with energy team to continually update long term targets

Good understanding of and experience working with environmental laws and regulations as applicable

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:

Recommend organizational requirements to scale and sustain the ESG program

Post-secondary education in a related field

5+ years experience with ESG concepts and frameworks

Hands-on experience managing ESG-related functions

Strong working knowledge of ESG reporting standards and frameworks (i.e. GRI, SASB, TCFD), and ESG rater expectations

One or more years of experience consulting organization(s) to achieve outcomes that impact service delivery and related digital products.

Experience managing a portfolio of clients in a customer service environment.

Good verbal, reading and writing skills are required

Previous housekeeping experience an asset

Successful completion of academic Grade 12 or equivalent required

Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Manage daily and weekly communication between team members; this includes team huddles, weekly team meetings, and inter-departmental status updates

Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors by sourcing and recommending new offerings as needed

2-5 years of relevant experience within a professional services environment

Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, including working effectively with Leadership and Staff at all levels

Prepare team schedules for Office Services

Participate in the development and improvement of service standards, policies, practices, and objectives

2-5 years of past related experience preferred OR accredited maintenance training.

Desired working knowledge of carpentry including drywall repair, painting, light plumbing and preventative maintenance.

Working knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
