Environmental Service Project Manager Jobs in British Columbia

Project management, logistical coordination, and supervision of junior and intermediate staff.

5+ years of experience in a similar consulting role in the environmental services industry

Broad knowledge of environmental site assessment and/or risk assessment and/or hydrogeology and/or site remediation

Working knowledge of provincial, local, and industry specific regulations and guidelines

Experience with invoicing, budgeting, and other areas of project related financial management

Management of Excess Soils projects

Manage projects and ensure that they are completed on time and on budget

Communicate with Clients and understand their project requirements

Participate in initiatives with the Marketing department and develop business development skills to build new client relationships and maintain existing ones

Build leadership and mentorship skills by working with and mentoring junior staff

Prepare profiles to manage the waste materials found in the scope of work; Secure appropriate approvals;

3+ years’ hazardous waste related experience;

Previous supervisory or leadership experience is an asset;
