Key qualifications, experience, capabilities, and qualities we are looking for in a Environmental Operations Director include:

Keeping abreast of new and emerging environmental matters, including trends, legislation, regulations, and best management practices.

Conducting environmental assessments and providing guidance on environmental regulations and compliance requirements.

5+ years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on environmental assessments and regulatory compliance.

Professional designation or certification, such as R.P.Bio., P.Eng., R.P.F., or eligibility to attain.

Experienced in project management best practices for project tracking and cost-accounting needs, able to produce up-to-date status reports as required

Proven abilities in coordination, maintaining project and document controls, data management, and submitting project reports

Assist with project scheduling and ongoing management of the schedule

Contribute to proposal writing, data/records management, and mandatory reporting

Certificate/diploma in business administration or project management would be an asset
