Engineering Design And Drafting Technologist Jobs in British Columbia

Professional Engineer or Sr. Design Technologist with 7+ years of demonstrated experience in the area of transportation engineering;

Experience with rural & urban roadway design and inter-disciplinary coordination related to roadway and highway projects;

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with excellent teamwork skills;

Good understanding of QA / QC as well as OH&S practices / requirements;

Good working knowledge of TAC and BC Supplement to TAC design standards;

Alternative Delivery (DB, P3, etc.) projects experience is an asset; and

Compensation will depending on skill level, ability & experience.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Custom Single Family Home design.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Prepare 3D Sketchup architectural & interior design model including import/export of data with engineers & consultants.

Prepare architectural drawings for residential custom homes including permit documentation and construction details.

Knowledge of ADA Requirements (Americans with Disabilities Act) is a valuable asset

Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Fusion 360, Revit and Sketchup

Drafting 2D and 3D renderings of our current and future products

CNC Programing (Training will be provided)

Ability to work seamlessly between 2D and 3D

Effective communicator in English, both written and spoken

Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD. Experience in Solidworks, Sketchup would be beneficial.

Experience with Curtail Wall and Storefront an asset.

Excellent English written, verbal and visual communication skills.

Experience with construction methods and BC Building Code.

Experience in windows and glazing design preparation is beneficial.
