An Emergency Receiving Home Team Leader is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for children and youth in care. They are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Emergency Receiving Home, including managing staff, providing direct care, and ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed. They must have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work with a diverse population of children and families. To become an Emergency Receiving Home Team Leader, you must have a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field. You must also have experience working with children and families in a residential setting. Additionally, you must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check. Skills required for an Emergency Receiving Home Team Leader include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work with a diverse population, and the ability to manage staff and resources.
