Elevating Devices Mechanic Apprentice Jobs

Resolves technical issues to determine the appropriate interpretation of technical requirements within the assigned area of responsibility.

Prepares certification reports, Certificate of Compliance, and other related CSA documentation.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 0-2 years job related experience

Certified Engineering Technologist/ technician, Licensed Trades with 3-5 years industry experience

Knowledge of Laboratory instrumentation, including operating principles and calibration procedures, as well as general Laboratory procedures

Additional expertise and experience may be required depending on the needs of the business unit

Preparing and maintaining quality management documentation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems

ASQ certification considered an asset

2+ years of experience working with quality systems

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills

Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills

Experience in change management of either medical devices or medical device combination products.

Extensive experience in risk management and design control of medical devices or combination products from concept through launch.

Lead and facilitate Risk Analysis, Control and Mitigation per ISO 14971. Review and approve risk management file documents.

Knowledge and application of device root cause analysis methodology and device CAPA requirements.

Knowledge in statistical analysis including strong knowledge of statistics of quality and experience with least one statistical analysis software system.

Contribute to establishing, maintaining and revising internal procedures. Maintain knowledge of current industry standards and trends in best practices.
