• Use electrical and electronics knowledge to perform hardware and system debugging

• Develop wiring architecture, wire harness routing, power distribution, and electrical system needs and requirements

• Execute electrical system functional and validation test requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Knowledge of electronics components including ICs, sensors,

• Review electrical system schematics, perform analytical circuit functionality, and execute repairs, modifications to meet project function

Automotive qualification within a testing environment

Organised with good communication skills

Test piece palletisation, installation and setup of instrumentation

Validate basic engine running within a test cell environment

Identify and diagnose unit faults both mechanically and electrically

Strong understanding of gasoline and diesel engine operation

Education: Cegep diploma in electronics or pertinent experience;

Experience: Ideally a minimum of 2 years in a similar position;

Assets: Knowledge of PC architecture (ISA, PCI, CPCI), Boundary Scan/JTAG;

You will debug electronic boards after assembly or following a first test that has failed;

You will document defects according to internal processes;

You will have defective components changed or repaired after analysis by board repair personnel;

Education: Cegep diploma in electronics or pertinent experience;

Experience: Ideally a minimum of 2 years in a similar position;

Assets: Knowledge of PC architecture (ISA, PCI, CPCI), Boundary Scan/JTAG;

You will debug electronic boards after assembly or following a first test that has failed;

You will document defects according to internal processes;

You will have defective components changed or repaired after analysis by board repair personnel;

Annual base salary range is between $50,000 and $60,000 CAD, commensurate with technician’s experience and capabilities.

Use their knowledge of electronic theory and circuitry to address a variety of technical problems.

Computer networking knowledge (Ethernet, serial communications protocols).

Knowledge of marine navigation equipment including but not limited to radars, gyrocompasses, autopilots, ECDIS, GMDSS, etc.

Strong knowledge of electronics theory and application.

Fluent in English (spoken & written). Working knowledge of the French language is a plus.
