Overview: Electricians are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. They must be knowledgeable in electrical theory and be able to read blueprints and technical diagrams. Electricians must also be able to troubleshoot and repair any electrical problems that arise. They must also be able to work safely and follow all safety regulations. Electricians may work in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
