Driver Safety Supervisor Jobs

3 to 5 years of tractor-trailer driving experience and Preventable Accident free for a minimum of three (3) years required

2 years’ cryogenics tanker experience a must

Knowledge of Cryogenics and Transportation of Dangerous Goods a must

Good organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to train, evaluate and manage drivers

Implements, maintains, and updates internal safety programs and procedures in conjunction with company, customer, and regulatory compliance requirements

1-3 years of safety experience (i.e. - administration of site based safety programs), required

5-7 years warehouse/distribution/logistics experience, required

Or equivalent with work related experience in inventory control, logistics or related discipline, required

or equivalent with work related experience in inventory control, logistics or related discipline, required

Leads Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) program on-site through regularly scheduled observations of warehouse workers and drivers.

In-depth knowledge of transportation regulations, safety protocols, and compliance requirements

Proficient in using Microsoft Office and transportation management software and technology for tracking and reporting

Supervise and manage a team of drivers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure optimal performance

AZ or DZ license preferred, roll-off or lugger experience is an asset

2+ years experience in a supervisory role

5+ years experience in the transportation, logistics, or solid waste industry

Post-secondary education in health, safety and environmental management. CRSP designation a definite asset.
