Overview:

Dozer operators are responsible for operating heavy machinery, such as bulldozers, to move earth and other materials. They must be able to read and interpret plans, operate the machinery safely and accurately, and follow instructions from supervisors. Dozer operators must also be aware of their surroundings and be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.

How To Become an Dozer Operator:

To become a dozer operator, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent and complete a training program. Training programs are typically offered through vocational schools, community colleges, and trade schools. You may also need to obtain a commercial driver’s license (CDL) in order to operate the machinery.
