Overview A Dietary Server is responsible for providing food service to patients, staff, and visitors in a healthcare setting. They may also be responsible for setting up and cleaning up the dining area, as well as stocking supplies and ensuring that all food is prepared and served according to health and safety regulations. Detailed Job Description Dietary Servers are responsible for providing food service to patients, staff, and visitors in a healthcare setting. This includes setting up and cleaning up the dining area, stocking supplies, and ensuring that all food is prepared and served according to health and safety regulations. They may also be responsible for taking orders, serving food, and helping to maintain a clean and sanitary environment. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Ability to read and understand recipes
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to lift and carry heavy trays
Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in food service or healthcare setting
• ServSafe certification (preferred)
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques
• Knowledge of proper food storage and handling
• Knowledge of menu items and ingredients
Job Experience
• Previous experience in food service or healthcare setting
• Previous experience in customer service
Job Responsibilities
• Set up and clean up the dining area
• Stock supplies and ensure that all food is prepared and served according to health and safety regulations
• Take orders and serve food
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment
