Dietary Aids are responsible for providing assistance in the preparation and service of meals in a healthcare or institutional setting. This includes setting up and stocking food service areas, preparing and serving food, cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment and surfaces, and disposing of waste. Dietary Aids may also be responsible for stocking supplies, checking food temperatures, and ensuring that food is served in a timely manner.What is Dietary Aid Job Skills Required?
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
• Ability to read and follow recipes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work with a team
What is Dietary Aid Job Qualifications?
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a food service setting is preferred
• Ability to read and understand written instructions
• Ability to follow verbal instructions
• Ability to work independently
What is Dietary Aid Job Knowledge?

• Knowledge of food preparation and presentation
