Experience in documenting complex systems, clearing articulating current state, future state, and transition steps

Ability to synthesise and simplify complex business requirements into simple and elegant solutions.

You can demonstrate a strong technical working knowledge of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) operating system.

Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering or in a technology-related field.

8+ years of experience in enterprise data engineering and architecture

3+ years of experience using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), scheduler on GCP preferred

Experience as a Data Architect designing, solutioning and implementing/building out data pipelines

Experience Kafka for data streaming

Strong query experience using Bit Query, Python, or SQL preferred

Scripting experience sing Unix Shell preferred

Lead application portfolio management initiative, tools, and processes.

Have practical expertise in defining, providing implementation plans, and providing change management for technology roadmaps.

Drive a major IT portfolio of products (e.g. Microsoft, IBM, Oracle): their solution/technology architecture, components, integration capabilities, deployment environments, roadmaps.

Have practical experience in designing complex Cloud-based solutions.

Practical experience in using technical debt measurements to identify, prioritize and execute processes to modernize legacy environments.

Document results and obtain clients’ endorsement of the final deliverables.

10+ years experience in Information technology Security

Fully remote- anywhere in Canada

SME in Security Compliance Frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST 800-53 FedRAMP - MUST HAVE

Excellent organization, written and verbal communication

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics or a related field of study

• Experience with configuration management platforms (e.g. Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible)

2/ Discuss experience working with serverless technologies (eg. API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions)

• Extensive experience architecting, designing and programming applications in an AWS Cloud environment

• Experience with designing and building application using AWS services such as Lambda, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Kubernetes

• Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability and high availability

• Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins)
