Web Designer – Innovation Lab Jobs

You’re a 21st century maker with an education in Industrial Design, Sport Product Design, Product Design, Fashion Design.

You have the capabilities to design and can build a concept or cohesive collection of functional solutions to an understood problem.

Build and test prototypes that you have created to validate performance criteria, viability, relevance, and value.

Research new technologies, materials, methods of make to inform and shape new guest solves and or unmet needs.

Good knowledge and understanding of GLP and GMP, and regulatory requirements applicable to stability of Cosmetic and OTC products

Prepare stability reports according to standards, client’s requirements and regulatory regulations and guidelines

Manage stability samples and documents

Assists the R&I Stability Lab Manager on internal and client/government audits as well as, stability lab duties, as required

Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related field and equivalent work experience

Good computer skills with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel)

Sound analytical thinking, problem-solving, planning, prioritization, project management, and execution skills

Act as a primary client-facing project team member, providing project management updates and communications to the project client

Post-secondary degree in strategic foresight, innovation, business, design thinking, social sciences, or another related field, or equivalent work experience

5+ years’ work experience in human-centred design or innovation, preferably in a social purpose, public policy, or housing context

Knowledge of the affordable housing sector in Canada

Demonstrable experience leading design or innovation methodologies from problem finding and framing to solution development, prototyping, and road mapping for implementation

Experience designing in e-learning environments, utilizing related technologies and learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Articulate Storyline)

Oversees and supports development of deliverables for educational projects, with project principal applicants and the Manager, Educational Development, OETLD

High level computer skills and literacy including knowledge of MS Office products, especially MS Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Experience supporting faculty in a higher education setting preferred

Creates online course materials for educational and learning design projects

Gathers feedback and and incorporates it on educational deliverables for project team members, including student staff
