Experience with one or more of the following an asset: SCADAPack’s, Fisher ROC’s, Bristol’s, ABB Totalflow’s.
Experience in all types of communications and networking: MDS, Freewave and others an asset.
Superb written and spoken communication skills.

Decommissioning Technologists are responsible for the safe and efficient decommissioning of industrial and commercial sites. They are responsible for the removal of hazardous materials, the dismantling of equipment, and the disposal of waste. They must also be able to work with a variety of people, including engineers, contractors, and government officials.

How To Become an Decommissioning Technologists:

To become a Decommissioning Technologist, you must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field. Additionally, you must have experience in hazardous materials removal, hazardous waste management, and environmental remediation. You must also have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check.
