It Cybersecurity Auditor Jobs

Compile audit findings, offer actionable recommendations, and create detailed reports for management and relevant stakeholders.

Knowledge of IT architecture and network design, operating systems, database management systems, statistics, modelling, and data analytics tools

Review new and existing systems to ensure the adequacy of controls, security, data integrity and transformation issues and project management assessments

Relationship Management – Individual must be able to foster an environment of open & honest communication, feedback & teamwork.

Partner with IT, security, business, and operational teams to address risk areas/vulnerabilities, non-compliance, or other areas of concern.

Fulfil training requirements, adhere to personal development plans, and complete performance reviews within specified timelines.

- Supports change management of varying scope and type; tasks typically focused on execution and sustainment activities.

Location: Remote anywhere in Canada

- 3-6 years of experience in internal risk, audit, compliance, or IT control testing

- Experience assessing internal IT controls

- Strong experience with Microsoft Suite

- Certifications including CIA, CRCM or CISA

Works with clients in defining information security requirements for projects and ensures project compliance to these requirements.

Authors/reviews security architecture for clients and provides recommendations based on best practices or based on regulatory compliance requirements.

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related major from an accredited University or equivalent College Diploma and related experience.

CISSP, CISA, CISM, or SANS Certifications

A good understanding of Linux, Windows and network security skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
