Education - Degree or Diploma in Hospitality/Event Management or related field, or equivalent experience preferred

Event Experience - Minimum 5 year experience in Hospitality/Event Management

Experience working with a variety of data management systems an asset

Creation, management and reconciliation of budgets, final accounting of project revenues and expenses

Manage and coordinate all suppliers and other third parties

Manage supplier RFPs, negotiations and contracts & services

Supporting the ongoing management of successful projects including reviewing quarterly and final reports, disbursing funds, managing budgets, etc.

Maintain effective time management of multiple competing priorities.

Attend internal MNP courses to further develop knowledge around performance improvement.

Contribute based on experience using a CRM platform such as Microsoft Dynamics (or similar).

Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Assisting with the development of program criteria.

Prepare and peer review investment monitoring reports and analyses, including relevant capital market or manager commentaries

Attend internal training sessions to build knowledge of industry topics and trends

Liaise with internal colleagues and external service providers as needed to support client deliverables or obtain necessary information

Take a supporting role in client meetings, and take minutes where required

Support in the development and maintenance of proprietary databases and tools

Draft and review standard and more complex client correspondence, reports, and other communications

Project management, product management, or program management. This role is much more hands-on and in-the-details than a normal operations role.

Taking a service offering from ideation to implementation

At least 5 years of work experience (post-graduation) in any industry

Experience in at least two functional business areas (operations, sales, product, etc.)

Obsessing over quality, rapidly iterating to build the best system

Taking risks, trialing new services, and learning from real-world feedback
